A comprehensive branding and website project for One Family Law, a start-up law practice based in Bath, England. Founded by two family law experts, the firm wanted to create a warm and welcoming brand that reflected their unique philosophy of helping clients divorce amicably rather than through confrontation.
Their goal was to redefine the traditional perception of divorce as hostile and painful, instead promoting understanding, fairness, and collaboration between both parties.
We developed a complete brand identity and website that effectively conveyed this message of amicable divorce and cost minimisation, establishing One Family Law as one of the first family law practices in the UK to champion a civil, compassionate, and cooperative approach to separation.



One Family Law needed to establish a distinctive brand identity in the competitive legal services market as a new start-up. As one of the first firms to focus on the concept of divorcing amicably rather than following the traditional confrontational approach to separation, they faced the challenge of creating an identity that reflected this progressive philosophy while maintaining credibility within the legal sector.

The final identity uses calming colours, modern typography, and friendly design elements to convey fairness and support. Consistent across all touchpoints, the brand sets One Family Law apart as a caring, credible alternative to traditional firms.

Our design process involved exploring multiple visual directions through over 50 logo concepts. This ensured the final brand identity captured the firm’s welcoming approach while maintaining credibility expected in legal services.
We developed three wireframes per primary page and three design versions based on these wireframes. Unlimited feedback rounds ensured the final design perfectly reflected One Family Law’s vision and values. The visual identity balanced professionalism with approachability and clearly communicated the message of amicable divorce to all target audiences.
We built a modern, responsive website optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. The website strategically supports user journeys for clients, highlighting the firm’s unique approach to amicable divorce and cost-effective solutions.
Lead capture and navigation were carefully structured to provide clarity for both male and female visitors. Comprehensive testing across devices and browsers ensured a seamless launch. The final site effectively communicates the firm’s unique selling points and provides an intuitive platform for potential clients to understand and engage with the services.
